Katie is an award-winning writer and performer. She’s a BAFTA Rocliffe Comedy TV winner and was also on the BBC Comedy Writersroom and Soho Theatre Writers Lab.

Her short film ‘Ghosted’ starring Alison Steadman, which she wrote, produced and performed in, was supported by BFI Network and Film Hub Midlands and went into commissioned development for TV. Her debut drama ‘Yellow Lips’ aired on BBC Radio 4 in 2021 in which she also played the lead in and was nominated for The Imison Award.

Katie’s debut stage play ‘Tapped’ premiered at Theatre503 in 2022, followed by a UK tour, for which Katie received an Offie nomination for Most Promising Playwright. Her second play ‘Wish You Weren’t Here’ was commissioned by Theatre Centre and Sheffield Theatres and enjoyed an 8 week UK tour which included runs at Soho Theatre and Sheffield Playhouse.
