Hattie Harrison

Hattie Harrison is a BAFTA Rocliffe award-winning writer with a passion for writing irreverent comedy fuelled by characters rooted in emotional honesty.
 
In 2024 she won the British Comedy Guide Talent Award for writing, following previous recognition in the Funny Women Awards where she was longlisted for Best Comedy Writing (2022) and Comedy Short (2023). Hattie was a finalist in the Female Pilot Club competition (2024) and a semi-finalist in the Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting Competition (2025) for which she wrote her first hour-long drama pilot. 
 
Hattie is a National Film and Television School graduate (Writing and Producing Comedy) and ‘The Podcast’ – the short film she wrote and produced whilst at the NFTS – was selected to be screened at multiple film festivals worldwide. 
 
Hattie has previously written for Horrible Science (Series 2) and is currently working on Horrible Histories (Series 12).
