Mícheál Óg Lane is a Galway-born Irish actor and writer. A fluent Irish speaker, he works across both English and Irish language film and television. He is known for his roles in ‘The Guard’ and ‘Calvary’ alongside Brendan Gleeson, as well as Chris O’Dowd’s ‘Moone Boy’.
Mícheál’s recent credits include ‘The Damned’ opposite Odessa Young and Joe Cole, which premiered at the Tribeca Festival, and the IFTA winning Irish language horror ‘Fréwaka’, directed by Aislinn Clarke and premiered at the Locarno Film Festival. Additional screen work includes ‘Ros na Rún’, ‘Fairview Park’, and ‘The Survivalist’.
