Sy Thomas

Sy Thomas is an actor, writer and stand-up comedian. In 2024 he made his feature film debut as Stuart in Jim Owen’s comedy ‘Hostages’, as well as playing the lead in short films ‘Kitty’, ‘The Turnaround’ and ‘Teach’. Sy’s debut short ‘Breakdown’, written and performed with Oliver Britten, was selected for 17 international film festivals and nominated for 10 awards, winning 3. He was also nominated for Best Actor at UVFF for his performance. Sy’s comedic acting skills have been honed through his many years working as a stand-up comedian.
